Where Is God?

It would be wonderful to connect with you this Sunday, as we walk this path together of discovery, insight and experience…

I am surprised by how distracted I have become during this presidential election cycle! It’s so easy to get angry, disgusted, disappointed, jaded – in other words, to lose sight of God. Where is God in the midst of all of this rhetoric, attack, and posturing; all of this jockeying for a place at the political table?

Where is God, I ask? Well… Everywhere!

At least, that is what I have come to believe. Not that I see God everywhere, or hear God all of the time, or feel God with me and in me at every moment. But nonetheless, God is there – if I will open my eyes, my ears, my heart, to see, to hear, to feel. Even in all the games we play.

Easier said than done, I say. But that is the practice, that is the challenge. Sometimes it feels as though we are playing Hide ‘N’ Seek with God — that may be so. AND, it’s nice to know that God always wants to be found!!

This Sunday, we’ll take a little time to experience God through the lens of a few spiritual masters and great spiritual poets – Hafiz, Rumi, Jesus, Kabir, Lao Tzu, to name a few. It will be an opportunity to reset our minds and hearts to tune in to spirit, to love.

You are invited to take a few moments out of your day, your week, to stop and remember!

Please join us for a bit of inspiration, as we consider a higher and wiser way along the path, an experience of opening and conscious awareness, to help you set the tone for the days ahead.
